Listen and Learn
The "Listen and Learn" installation, conceived during the residency at Petrohradska Kolektiv in 2023, encapsulates a multimedial exploration of the contemporary housing crisis. Through a combination of 3D prints, silkscreen prints, and moving parts, the installation confronts viewers with the exaggerated lecture about housing as a market-driven good.
At its core, the installation challenges conventional perceptions of housing by critically examining its transformation into a tradable entity. Through dynamic moving imagery and a curated DJ set by Drinks Menu, the space comes alive, inviting audiences to engage with the intricate layers of social, economic, and political dynamics that underpin the housing dilemma.
